By now you've all seen the photos of the Leader of the Free World asking Mama Condi if he could take a bathroom break. Some of you probably thought the pic was quite simply too good to be true. Well guess what kiddies, Xmas came early. Here's the link to the original Reuters posting. While you're there take a gander at the rest of the site. Not weird, but pretty cool if you're into photos. And so it begins...

The first NOLA jokes are starting to trickle out. So far all the ones we've heard hear at the Compound have been rather pointed political ones. This site falls into that category. These guys put together their own Magic: The Gathering deck based on the events in New Orleans. We think it's damn sharp and if we knew more about geek games like Magic, we'd probably be even more impressed. We never ran with the sort of crowd that would play Magic or D&D ( sadly, we were even lower on the social ladder ) so we have take the positive comments left by others as proof of authenticity.

Holy crap! Who knew there was so much Green Acres swag created? Oliver and Lisa Douglas paper dolls? The Green Acres Board game? Toy models of Oliver's tractor, Mr. Haney's truck, and Arnold the pig? Who knew that Green Acres was the subject of almost thirty TV Guide covers? And who would have thought that anyone would ever care enough to gather all this stuff together so we can all gawk at it? The Internet is cool.
Where, oh where, are you tonight?

We admit it. We spent a good chunk of our Southern upbringing trying to avoid Hee Haw. We didn't realize until recently how unsuccessful we were. We know all the words to Doom Despair and Agony, The Gossip Song, and Where, Where Are You Tonight. We know that BR-549 is more than just a current country band. Hell, we even remember Buddy, the Wonder Dog. If you do too, then you'll find theses pages to be a ( somewhat embarrassing ) trip down memroy lane. o/~ You met another and pfffft you was gone! o/~
