After a five-decade-long career in performance, New York legend Penny Arcade will make her Chicago debut at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., on Tuesday, June 25, at 8 p.m. ( Doors open at 6 p.m. )
In "Longing Lasts Longer," performance artist Arcade reflects on topics such as nostalgia and gentrification with her wit and intelligence. The show is described as "a blend of razor sharp satire, memoir and comedy, in which street smarts and exuberance open a crack in our planet's post-gentrified landscape."
