—The Long Grove Chocolate Festival: The beloved Chocolate Festival will return to the historic streets and parkways of downtown Long Grove for the first time in three years, May 20-22. Chocolate lovers can experience so much—including a "sensorium of chocolate" at this year's new Chocolate Tasting Experiences located around the fest. See longgrove.org/festivals/chocolatefest/ .

—Aniara: Odds are that you haven't heard of this 2018 science-fiction film directed by Pella Kagerman and Hugo Lilja. Based on a 1956 poem of the same name, Aniara is an absorbing drama (as well as the name of the spaceship all the passengers travel in)—and an important part of this movie concerns a relationship that forms between the Mimarobe (a woman who's in charge of the ship's artificial intelligence, Mima) and Isagel. Yes, it's an "art" film, but it's also captivating and unpredictable.

—Hannah's Bretzel Ukrainian fundraiser: On Friday, May 20, Hannah's Bretzel (400 N. LaSalle Dr. and 107 S. Franklin St.) will be donating all proceeds from the day to UNICEF's fundraiser for Ukraine. The place specializes in delicious sandwiches on pretzel (or, rather, bretzel—the German word for pretzel) and many European chocolates.

—Smahtguy: The Life and Times of Barney Frank: Eric Orner—a former congressional aide to Barney Frank and the acclaimed author of the comic strip The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green—has put together this entertaining and informative graphic novel. Not only is it a biography of Frank, but it also shows the underbellies of D.C. and Boston politics.

—Genuine Health supplements: Genuine Health—a certified BCorp company with 30+ years of experience creating natural, science-based supplements—has a variety of products to help people feel better. (I've tried the Genuine Health Greens Superfood powder, which I recommend.) However, there are other items, ranging from Perfect Skin Blemish to Fast Joint+ Care. See genuinehealth.com .
