Windy City Live's Valerie Warner chairs evening of local fare set for August 18 at Galleria Marchetti
CHICAGO — July 21, 2011 - Step Up Women's Network will launch its first signature event in Chicago, Shine & Dine, August 18 at Galleria Marchetti. The evening will feature philanthropy and seasonal fare from Chicago's hottest restaurants while welcoming 400 local professionals and notables, all to benefit the charitable programs of Step Up Women's Network.
Valerie Warner, co-host of Chicago's newest daytime talk show, Windy City Live, will serve as honorary chair for the inaugural event.
"We are excited to introduce Shine & Dine to our community," Step Up Managing Director Gina Marotta said. "Step Up has been a fixture in Chicago for five years and this special event is the perfect way to celebrate our work with local women and girls, as well as attract new enthusiasts to our cause."
Wave Executive Chef Kristine Subido and ZED451 Executive Chef Patrick Quakenbush will be on hand to offer guests exclusive tastings. The Purple Pig will also sample favorites. Featured sips will be available from the event's Diamond Sponsor, Ciroc.
