Wil is survived by partner of four years, Lenya Friesner, father Stephen "Grasshopper" Abtahi, two faithful feline companions, Prancy and Loki, and many friends.
After attending Oak Park River Forest High School, Wil graduated from DePaul University with a B.A. in History. Wil loved mythology, tattoos, and aggressive music ( mainly stoner and doom metal ).
A beautiful spirit, Voice Hearer, and accomplished knitter, Wil exemplified life as one's Highest Self through grace, honesty, courage, strength, and compassion. Wil sought knowledge and joy, and inspired profound love.
