Jeffrey Wayne "Jef" Morgan, of Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack while shoveling snow on Jan. 2. He was 58.
Jef was the well-loved manager at Little Jim's on Halsted and an active member of the community. He will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him. Jef loved camping, traveling and helping everyone, and called Chicago home for more than 30 years.
He was the brother of Renee Nelson, Aaron Morgan, Dale Morgan and Cindy Bland. He also has five nieces and nephews.
Jef was also the son of Shirley Friend Morgan and Paul Morgan of Lanesville, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Lakeview Pantry.
