Paul Oostenbrug and Jeremiah Kelly were married and celebrated 26 years together Nov. 29 by Rev. Judith Maynard of the Metropolitan Community Church.
The ceremony took place at the home of their friends Michael Palmer and Jim Walker in Albuquerque, NM.
Mr. Oostenbrug, 63, is a grant writer and helps people plan for their possible need for long term care. He is an honorary life member of the Federation of Gay Games, where he was Vice President of Membership for seven years, and an inductee to/of Chicago's Gay & Lesbian Hall of Fame. www.glhalloffame.org/index.pl Paul is Chair of the Equality New Mexico Foundation. He graduated from Dartmouth College and has Master's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ( Regional Planning ) and Boston University ( Business Administration ). He is the son of Betty and Bill Oostenbrug of Burr Ridge, IL.
Dr. Kelly, 63, is a geriatrics physician and Alzheimer's disease specialist. He is pursuing a degree in physician leadership at the University of Southern California. He graduated com laude from Boston College and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He is a son of the late Jane Keogh Kelly and the late Francis D. Kelly, who lived in Glendale, WI.
