On May 31, 2011 the nomination cycle for the Inaugural Class of Inductees to The Legacy Walk closed. After nearly two years of processing, 159 people and 8 historic milestones have been nominated for consideration from which 36 will be selected for the October 11, 2012 dedication on Halsted Street.
