Chicago, Illinois, July 25, 2011 - tellofilms.com announces I Hate Tommy Finch a live play and webseries starring Nicole Pacent and Shannan Leigh Reeve and featuring the music of Sami Girsafe and Shannon Nicole. The play will be performed in Chicago at Parlour Friday, October 14 — Sunday, October 16, (6341 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL).

I Hate Tommy Finch is a unique project that aims to bridge the gap between live performance and new media distribution of web series. Tellofilms.com is piloting the format of first performing I Hate Tommy Finch in front of a live audience. The live performance will then be later released as a web series on tellofilms.com .

I Hate Tommy Finch is When Harry Met Sally for she-gays. Follow Alyssa and Stephanie throughout a 20-year friendship that includes growing up, coming out, and getting together…but not necessarily in that order. An original score is also being developed for I Hate Tommy Finch. Singer/songwriters Shannon Nicole and Sami Girsafe are writing original music which they will perform during the live performance. The score will also be featured on the tellofilms.com web series.

"tello, LLC has been so fortunate to bring together a power house of a creative team: Chicago based production team King is a Fink is writing and co-directing, Kathy Kuras is the music producer and tellofilms.com is co-producing and distributing the project. This dynamic group has brought two fantastic actors to the table, Nicole Pacent (Anyone But Me) and Shannan Leigh Reeve (Cowgirl Up, We Have To Stop Now), plus two amazing singer/songwriters, Sami Girsafe and Shannon Nicole. We all get along so well and compliment one another creatively. It's really an exciting partnership," shares co-producer and co-dirctor Christin Mell

Live Perormance Ticket & Venue Information

Performances are Friday, October 14 7:00 -9:00 PM, Saturday, October 16 6:00-8:00, Sunday, October 16 2:00-4:00 pm at Parlour, 6341 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL.

Tickets include admission to the live performance of I Hate Tommy Fink, a live performance by Shannon Nicole and Sami Girsafe, an after party at Parlour, as well as a chance to meet the actors. Purchase tickets in advance for $20 at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/190758 or $25 at the door. Pre Purchased tickets also receive priority seating.
