Four Chicago area attractions have been named among the 150 best things to do in the United States this summer by Travel Lemming.

The online travel guide's list highlights the publication's favorite summer events, experiences and destinations around the country.

The four Chicago attractions to make the list of 150 things to do are:

—#11 - Chicago Blues Festival;

—#65 - International Museum of Surgical Science;

—#101 - Lollapalooza; and,

The Chicago Blues Festival takes the top spot on the list among all entries in the Midwest. The festival is set to take place June 9-12.

Topping the nationwide list are the historic Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona; Colorado's Million Dollar Highway; Seattle's Fremont Solstice Parade; Taos, New Mexico; and the Dry Tortugas in Key West, Florida.
