Joy Culver and Patricia Robles (right) celebrated their 11-year anniversary on Valentine's Day. They met through the Windy City Times personal ads in 2001. They became pen pals and wrote letters to one another for a few months before actually meeting. In 2006, they founded the Windy City Animal Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue for cats and dogs, which was also inspired by Windy City Times. Photo courtesy of the couple
