Youth Pride Weekend is a project of Howard Brown Health Center, About Face Youth Theatre, CALOR, Center on Halsted, GLSEN Chicago, Oak Park Area Lesbian & Gay Association, The Night Ministry, and The Raw Works. Here's the line-up for what they have going on this Pride Weekend.
Friday, June 24th
Out in the Loop, an LGBTQA youth performance night.
Jones College Prep High School
606 S. State St., Chicago, 7-11 p.m.
Saturday, June 25th: Youth Pride Picnic
Hang out in the sun as you eat some food and play fabulous games!
49 Lake Street, Oak Park, noon-4 p.m.
Saturday, June 25th: SYNERGY Dance
A drug and drama-free party for LGBT youth and straight allies. $5 suggested donation.
525 S. State, 8-11:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 26th: SYNERGY Pride Float
Youth, ages 12 to 24, wanting to march in the Chicago Pride Parade should meet at the corner of Broadway & Belmont at 10 a.m.
Youth Pride Zone ( 11 a.m.-end of parade )
A safe, fun, and informed spot to watch the Chicago Pride Parade with people your own age. Water, candy, sunscreen, and safer sex supplies available. In front of the Broadway Youth Center at 3179 N. Broadway.

Center on Halsted Youth Dance
On Friday, June 24, 2005, Center on Halsted is hosting their annual Pride Dance from 5-10 p.m. at 3640 N. Halsted, the site of their proposed three-story community center. The Pride Dance celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender ( LGBT ) pride and is free for seniors, students and youth ages 13 and under. A $5 donation will be requested of all others. Food, drinks and entertainment will be provided including a performance by songwriter and vocalist extraordinaire, Katherine Davis.
