Country superstar Wynonna Judd has infuriated her Christian fans by planning a performance on a lesbian cruise. The singer has been inundated with angry e-mails from The Traditional Values Coalition threatening to boycott her future concerts unless she cancels her engagement to sing on a Caribbean cruise ship next year.
Heather Matarazzo, who has acted in such films as Princess Diaries and Welcome to the Dollhouse, has joined the likes of Rosie O'Donnell and Melissa Etheridge by marrying another woman. The 21-year-old actress is refusing to reveal her wife's name, but admits that her wife is a New York theater star. Matarazzo was hoping to keep her sexuality a secret but she's 'so in love' she felt she had to tell the world.
The ABC show Desperate Housewives may be a hit, but it has fewer original advertisers than it did just a few weeks ago. Tyson Foods, Lowe's Cos., and Kellogg have all aired spots on the weekly prime-time soap that debuted late last month—and none plan to air any more. Five companies, including Tyson, Lowe's, and Kellogg, have come under attack by the American Family Association, a self-described 'traditional family values' group that has been a relentless critic of the entertainment industry. |
