The Women's March on Chicago held a press conference Jan. 17 at City Hall. More than a dozen supports, organizers and speakers for the march attended, with several giving passionate reasons why they are marching Jan. 21 in Chicago's Grant Park.
Lead march organizers Liz Radford, Ann Scholhamer and Jessica Scheller introduced some of the march's movers and shakers, including Jaquie Algee of SEIU Healthcare, Fawzia Mirza who will be the MC for the rally at 10 a.m. Saturday, and Katie Thiede of Planned Parenthood, spoke to the media.
Organizers noted one of the final confirmed speakers will be Aislinn Pulley, lead organizer for Black Lives Matter Chicago
