The WNBA's Chicago Sky started forming its 2006 team by selecting 13 players from the 2005 expansion draft, according to ChicagoSports.com . The players are: Jia Perkins ( Charlotte ) ; Brooke Wyckoff ( Connecticut ) ; Elaine Powell ( Detroit ) Kiesha Brown ( Houston ) ; Deanna Jackson ( Indiana ) ; Laura Macchi ( Los Angeles ) ; Stacey Lovelace ( Minnesota ) ; DeTrina White ( New York ) ; Ashley Robinson ( Phoenix ) ; Bernadette Ngoyisa ( San Antonio ) ; Chelsea Newton ( Sacramento ) ; Francesca Zara ( Seattle ) ; and Stacey Dales-Schuman ( Washington ) .
The Sky will also have the sixth selection in every round of the 2006 WNBA Draft. Chicago will be placed in the Eastern Conference with the Charlotte Sting, Connecticut Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Washington Mystics.
