Joliet police issued an arrest warrant for a former Catholic school teacher accused of inappropriately communicating with a teenage boy, a. Fox32Chicago.com item reported.
Jeremy M. Hylka is facing charges of traveling to meet a child and grooming.
Hylka is a former teacher at Joliet Catholic Academy and Lockport's St. Joseph Catholic School as well as St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus.
Police said that on April 29, investigators were notified of a Snapchat video that possibly depicted inappropriate contact of an adult with a minor. Police say the person who uploaded it to Snapchat posed as a 15-year-old online, but is actually 19and the leader of a group called Save Our Siblings (not affiliated with police).
According to ABC7Chicago.com, Police said Hylka had shown up to the McDonalds under the impression he was meeting a teenage boy for sex. Hylka is seen running from a Joliet McDonald's after investigators say he realized he'd been caught in a setup by the independent organization.
Hylka will be held on $100,000 bond when he is taken into custody.
