Chicago's longest-running LGBTQ sketch comedy troupe invades the "heteronormative"' suburbs to revive Fifty States of Gay with its humor involving puppetry, lesbian break-ups and regional reactions to nationwide marriage equality. Fifty States of Gay plays one show only at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, 111 W. Campbell St., Arlington Heights. Tickets are $25.
