As if we needed more proof of Lady Gaga's popularity, she has become the first living individual to have 10 million followers on Facebook, according to CNN.com . The "Bad Romance" singer had been in a virtual tie with President Obama for the most fans, but has surpassed the chief executive.

Oscar-winning actor Javier Barden ( No Country for Old Men ) will appear on the small screen, as he is slated to guest-star on the TV series Glee next season as a rock star who befriends wheelchair-bound Artie ( played by Kevin McHale ) , according to EW.com . Bardem suggested the idea to Glee producer Ryan Murphy; Bardem and Murphy worked together on the Julia Roberts movie Eat Pray Love.

Singer George Michael is in trouble with the law again after being arrested for crashing his Range Rover into a London, England, store July 4, Popeater.com reported. Michael, 47, was not subjected to a breathalyzer test at the scene but was taken to a local police station. He was released on bail until next month. In 2007, he pled guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs. Advocate.com reported that Michael has apologized for "screwing up again" and promised "I'll sort myself out."

Martina Navratilova, who just finished radiation treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer, has won yet another title at the Wimbledon tennis tournament, according to Advocate.com . She teamed up with Jana Novotna to beat Tracy Austin and Kathy Rinaldi-Stunkel 7-5, 6-0 in the ladies' doubles final. Navratilova won nine singles titles and was present ( along with Billie Jean King ) when Serena Williams won July 3.

The waitress who punched Lindsay Lohan in the face on the starlet's 24th birthday will probably be fired, according to TMZ.com . The waitress punched Lohan at the nightspot Voyeur after spotting the actress with the employee's ex, rugby player Danny Cipriani. Voyeur is the same ( erotic ) club that hosted a group of Republican National Committee donors in February, with a now-fired staff member allowing the individuals to purchase almost $2,000 in alcohol.

Speaking of Lohan—in case you haven't heard—she is going to jail. Beverly Hills Judge Marsha Revel ruled July 6 that Lohan violated her probation by failing to attend alcohol-education classes in a drunk-driving case, according to the L.A. Times, and sentenced the actress to 90 days in jail, along with 90 more days of rehab. In addition, Revel criticized program operator Cheryl Marshall for not reporting Lohan's absences to the court before the actress had her bail revoked when the alarm on her SCRAM alcohol-monitoring device went off June 6. Lohan broke down as the sentence was delivered. She begins her stint in jail July 20.

The resurrected Lilith Fair tour has canceled 10 shows between July 12 and Aug. 16, according to Advocate.com . The shows are in Salt Lake City, Montreal, Raleigh, Charlotte, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Birmingham, Austin, Houston and Dallas. Lilith co-founder Terry McBride said, "We are in the midst of one of the most challenging summer concert seasons with many tours being cancelled outright. ... Lilith remains the only tour of its kind, and we are confident that fans will be amazed by what each date has to offer." Lilith, the only touring festival with an all-female line-up, opened in Calgary June 27 with more than 9,000 people attending.

True Blood actor Nelsan Ellis, who plays the gay cook Lafayette, told Vibe magazine that he supports same-sex marriage, according to Advocate.com . Ellis, who is heterosexual, said that when people mistake him for Lafayette, he takes it as a compliment to his acting. Regarding marriage equality, he said, "I support it. I think anybody should — I mean, I have my religious views but I don't choose to oppress them on anybody. I think in this country, anybody can do whatever they want to do as long as it's not hurting anybody else or violating the laws of society."

The Today Show modified its "Modern Day Wedding" contest so that same-sex couples could enter, according to a Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ( GLAAD ) press release. The change occurred a week after GLAAD learned that the competition was excluding gay and lesbian couples; the ban spurred the organization to issue a call to action, and thousands of people contacted NBC. The show also extended its application period to July 12.

In response to former domestic partner Melissa Etheridge filing for a dissolution of their partnership, Tammy Lynn Michaels has sued for full custody of their twins, according to Advocate.com . In filing last week, Etheridge sought joint legal and physical custody, and asked the court to deny Michaels any financial support. However, Michaels is seeking spousal support, saying that she put her acting career on hold for the sake of the family. Michaels is probably best known for her role as the evil cheerleader on the TV show Popular.

Rosemont, Ill. ( which is just outside Chicago ) is hosting Taboo Productions' Exxxstacy 2010 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center July 16-18, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. There will be more than 100 vendors and appearances by adult-film stars connected to some high-profile celebrity scandals. Tickets are $40-$60; see www.exxxtacyshow.com .

Gay music legend Sir Elton John will no longer make pop records. According to a Pink News item, John, 63, said he wants to make music that reflects his age. John said, "The singles chart is not one I'm going to be in very often any more, so my view is to make records that fit my age. I don't think I'm going to do 'Crocodile Rock' any more."

Edgy R&B singer Janelle Monae has addressed rumors about her sexuality—but her answers may provoke even more questions. Rap-up.com stated that in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Monae—who often wears a suit, tie and saddle shoes during her performances—said, "The lesbian community has tried to claim me. But I only date androids. Nothing like an android—they don't cheat on you." Incidentally, her CD is called The ArchAndroid.

Comic-Con 2010, taking place in San Diego, will feature some very big stars when it runs later this month. Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Bruce Willis will be on hand to discuss the upcoming thriller Red, while Nicolas Cage will appear in conjunction with the movie Drive Angry 3D. Meanwhile, Wizard World Chicago Comic Con will feature Patrick Stewart and William Shatner when it runs Aug. 20-21.

DJ Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan's former girlfriend, defended her ex from Joan Rivers's remarks, according to People.com . On Twitter, Rivers Tweeted such barbs as "Lindsay Lohan is so dumb. Her idea of being sworn in is cursing at the judge" and "I was just reading about the new Lindsay Lohan diet, which is all liquid. 80 proof." Ronson replied to Rivers, "You have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait I guess people that old can't hear." Lohan later Tweeted a thank-you to Ronson.

In a full page ad running in the July 12 issue of Variety Magazine, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation ( GLAAD ) , the Black AIDS Institute and the National Black Justice Coalition ( NBJC ) call on the ABC Television Network and its popular morning program The View, to correct misinformation put forth on the June 22 edition of the show. The ad reads in part, "On June 22, ABC's The View aired inaccurate information about HIV, blaming African American gay and bisexual men for increased HIV rates among straight African American women. The Centers for Disease Control ( CDC ) has publicly disproven this myth. And since June 22, thousands of people have written to ABC, asking that The View Provide correct information to viewers. Unfortunately, those requests have been greeted with silence from both ABC and The View."

The Village People is upset that YMCA is changing its name to "The Y," according to Starpulse.com . Among the group's hits are "Y.M.C.A.," "In the Navy" and "Macho Man." In a statement, the group said, "We are deeply dismayed by today's announcement from the YMCA that they feel a name change and a rebranding are in order after 166 years. Some things remain iconic and while we admire the organisation for the work they do, we still can't help but wonder Y."

Beverly Hills is about to become a little bit gayer—at least on television.
