Evanston, IL, July 15, 2021 — Actors Gym is proud to announce Summer Salon 2021, an evening of circus under the stars in Tallmadge Park to celebrate the organization's 25th year. It will be a family-friendly night of music, performances, nibbles, and libations.

The event is open to the general public and will include a series of circus acts curated by Artistic Director Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi, featuring performers from a cross-section of Actors Gym's programming.

Founded in 1995, Actors Gym is dedicated to expanding human potential through its three program areas: Classes, shows, and event entertainment. Since its inception, it has been at the forefront of making the knowledge and skills that had long been passed down only in professional circuses accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

In doing so, the Gym has helped train the next generation of professional performers, which have gone on to perform nationally and internationally.

"We give something unique to everyone who walks through our doors, but the primary thing we offer is confidence. With this year's Summer Salon, we want to celebrate this important milestone and help people see that they are capable of more than they ever thought possible."
