Celebrating Barbra Streisand's 80th birthday, Steven Brinberg will perform the live musical performance "Simply Barbra" on Sunday, July 31, at The Acorn, 107 Generation Dr., Three Oaks, Michigan (approximately 70 miles from Chicago).
The historic Acorn Theater is located in the historic Featherbone Corset factory, just minutes from the border with Indiana.
Brinberg has been doing his live vocal and comic impressions of Streisand for two decades, performing around the world and across the United States. For more than 11 years, he toured with composer/pianist Marvin Hamlisch, performing songs from Streisand's award-winning plays, films and recordings for the public and such notables as Steven Sondheim, Donna Karan and Liza Minnelli in venues like Lincoln Center and Feinstein's/54 Below.
The show starts at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET. Tickets ($35-$60 each) are available at www.acornlive.org/events/simply-barbra/ . |
