Jerry celebrated his birthday in style at the Manhandler. I say "style," but I guess I mean that he celebrated Manhandler-style. And that's a good thing. Oh my god, Jerry's 39 again!!!

I picked up a copy of DJ Dan Badea's CD, Sound Planet, which he made to celebrate his 5th anniversary of working at Star Gaze. One listen and it was on my iPod …

I still don't know how Richard Anthony's CD ,Inside, got into my mailbox at work, but Richard did contact me and say he would be in the crowd at the finals of Windy City Suburban Gay Idol at Temptations on Nov. 22. I'll try to be there, although I could be at Encompass that night. I heard that Hunters and Inn Exile Gay Idols were fab.
Big hugs to Michael at Inn Exile. Happy birthday, Princess …

ChixMix goes from strength to strength with their parties at Circuit nightclub. The last one Caution: Women At Play was excellent with tons of hot babes and hot music …
… and yet again, I resisted the temptation to get a tattoo.

I don't know how I managed to get on a bar crawl with Bruno and Johnny from Touché, but hanging out at Berlin with those two was a blast.
Ich bin ein Berliner. I love Berlin because the coolest people go there and as soon as I walk in my camera starts twitching in its bag.
Congratulations to Berlin for giving us 20 years of weirdness and music. I once saw some guy nail his tongue to a board in that bar … how cool is that!!!
A big hi to Hollywood on the door.

Did you see the Kinsey Sicks at the Eagle? Windy City Media Group and our friends at Vox Vodka and American Airlines brought America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet back to town for a second time to an enthusiastic audience.
The Kinsey Sicks were so funny that every comedy act I see from now on is doomed to be a huge disappointment. I might as well just stay in and clean my refrigerator until they come back next year.

As I told Mr. Flint, the Miss Continental Elite contest at the Baton last week was stunning.
Imagine my surprise when Jim said, "And now, all the way from Phoenix, Miss Ebony … "
I can't believe my dear friend Ebony Carr was in town and she didn't even tell me she was coming. Pick up the phone, girl …
Ebony was just wonderful. That swimsuit, honey!! That hat!!
Miss Kitty – what can you say – an icon!! She walked on stage with her dancing boys, grabbed the show, slid it into her pocket and walked off. She totally stole it for me.
And I was only there for the first night. The second night I was
otherwise engaged, but I bumped into Lady Chanel later at Berlin and she said the show was great and the Baton was packed.

Creaoke at Jackhammer last week was way too much fun for a whole bunch of dancing queens … who were those people?
On the subject of Jackhammer, I hear Craig from Madrigals is working there one night a week … or something like that.

Had a long talk with Terry Gaskins in Berlin about Carlos Morales (See Madrigals full-page pix inside). She told me she photographed Carlos and Michael Bonfiglio together. I really need to see those pictures.
