I was very upset by the recent death of Frank Kellas. He was so much fun to talk to at Jackhammer. When he saw me he always asked the same question, 'How many dicks have you sucked this week.'
I'll miss him.

The annual Carnival at Bucks raised nearly $6,000 for DirectAid and was a huge success, as always. Toots Lorraine was stunning with a pair of shoes that looked like they were made at the epicenter of a freak bead factory explosion. Always a fun bar to go in with a fun-lovin' bunch of regulars.

I dragged my ass upstairs to the Makeshift Studio to watch Gina being photographed for this week's cover. There she was in the bathroom with the adorable Nicole Evangelista applying her make-up and a huge nuclear mushroom cloud of powder …
I think this week's Nightspots cover is my favorite so far …

The Barony seem to be everywhere at the moment and their last show at Annex 3 was a blast. It was a Royal Roast & Toast of the Royals, but how can you roast Royals?
… I'm British and you don't fuck with the Royals.

Monique Marquette held a benefit show at Jackhammer with some big names turning up. I was talking to Eileen Dover before the show and she mentioned she had a strait jacket and she used to use it to perform Liza Minnelli's Losing My Mind …
Do it one more time for me, Eileen, I have to see this …

Oh my god! I wasn't there, but the boys at Bobby Love's tell me that on Bobby's birthday the crowd got to see more of his anatomy than some of them wanted to see.
Apparently, my camera missed a great celestial shot of Bobby's Rings of Uranus. They're out of control over there …

It was September 15 and approaching midnight when I realized my birthday was September 16 and I mentioned it to Phil Lasheo; next thing you know the whole bar knows and I staggered home at 4 a.m. in a stupor. I'd like to be able to thank Joe and the guys at Touche for making my birthday so memorable, but sadly I can't remember much about it. So thanks to Touche for making my birthday instantly forgettable … and that's a compliment.
I know Eio was there and he's a party on his own!! And thanks to Jackhammer's Darren for cheering me up in a down moment. (Ha!)
