Chicago, IL — Personal PAC is excited to announce that this year's guest speaker at its Annual Awards Luncheon will be U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. Senator Gillibrand is the fired-up New York Senator who is taking on the entire U.S. military leadership over the epidemic of sexual assault in the military. Gillibrand told the commanders at a recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing that they are unable to tell the difference between "a slap on the ass and a rape." Senator Gillibrand is also a leader on the issue of reproductive rights.
Personal PAC will honor Bette Cerf Hill. She is a founder of the Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago and has served on the Governor's Commission on the Status of Women. Personal PAC will also honor Laura Tucker. Laura is an Illinois and National Planned Parenthood Board member who has worked side-by-side with Personal PAC recruiting and electing pro-choice candidates.
Personal PAC is a bi-partisan political action committee ( PAC ) dedicated to electing pro-choice candidates to state and local offices in Illinois. The 20th Annual Awards Luncheon will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, November 4th, at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Avenue. Ticket prices for the event start at $150 for young professionals and $250 for general admission and can be reserved by calling 312-422-0005, or by visiting www.personalpac.org .
Personal PAC is expecting more than 1,000 supporters to attend, including over 100 elected officials and candidates from across the state. Personal PAC identifies tens of thousands of pro-choice voters, professionally develops direct mail campaigns to educate and motivate pro-choice voters, initiates an Election Day get-out-the-vote program, and assembles campaign strategists to provide pro-choice candidates with the tools to win on Election Day. Further questions regarding Personal PAC's political strategy can be directed to Mr. Cosgrove at 312-422-0005.
