Canada Soccer announced the Women's National Team roster for two international friendly matches that will take place during the June FIFA international windowand Chicago Red Stars defender Bianca St. Georges was selected as part of the training camp roster.
Canada will face Czech Republic and Brazil as part of the continued preparations in the final FIFA window ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The first friendly, against Czech Republic, will take place Friday, June 11, at 10 a.m. CT, followed by a match against Brazil on Monday, June 14, at 2 p.m. CT. Both matches will take place at Estadio Cartagonova, in Cartagena, Spain.
St.Georges has previously represented Canada at a youth level. She started eight games for the U-17 squad, and helped Canada earn a silver medal in the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championships. The national roster also includes the two most recent Canadian Players of the YearKadeisha Buchanan (2020) and Ashley Lawrence (2019)as well as the most recent Canadian Youth International Player of the Year, Jade Rose (2020).
