The director of Hannah Free and Jamie & Jessie are Not Together (Wendy Jo Carlton) is creating a lesbian RomCom web series in Chicago called Easy Abby. The first six episodes have been shot and they are shooting eight more in October with a plan to distribute a full 14-episode Season One beginning in November 2012.
Synopsis: Abby Carillo has anxiety disorders that are soothed only by the seducing of women. She has never been in love and doesn't want to be! Easy Abby is like a lesbian Nurse Jackie. Or David Lynch meets Jane Lynch!
Carlton has just launched a fundraising campaign so the team can finish editing Season One!
And due to Fiscal Sponsorship, all donations are tax-deductible! Easy Abby will be streamed around the world on multiple websites and will add a funny, provocative, queer feminist voice to the mainstream!
Watch the Video for clips from the show and make donations here by Oct.3.
