Mister Chicago Leather 2020, the contest to choose a representative for the Windy City at this year's International Mr. Leather, kicks off Thursday, January 23, and continues through the weekend. The highlight of this action-packed weekend is the contest on Saturday, January 25, at Leather Archives & Museum, 6418 N. Greenview. John Pendal ( IML 2003 ) will return for his 17th consecutive year as emcee of the event.
The contest will be the highlight of a full weekend of events, including a welcoming cocktail party and the roast of Mr Chicago Leather 2019 Saber Onyx, both taking place Friday, January 24 at Touche, 6412 N. Clark St. Joining Saber on the judging panel will be International Mr. Leather 2019 Jack Thompson; Gene Mar, executive board member of the Chicago Hellfire Club; Lady MJ Spezia, President of Trident Windy City; and Kylon Hooks, one of the Founding Fathers of LORE ( Leatherfolk Of Recovery ).
The weekend also includes the fifth anniversary party of Full Kit Gear, 5021 N. Clark St.
