Northalsted Market Days hit Boystown once again on Halsted Street between the Belmont Avenue and Addison Street.
On Aug. 9-10, easily more than 150,000 visitors descended on the area that was blessed with weather that was better than ever.
Vendor booths full of food, drinks and novelties took over four city blocks. Music was, of course, a highlight with moments from singer Aaron Carter stage-diving, Go-Go Belinda Carlisle swaying signature moves in the breeze, and Neon Trees' open frontman Tyler Glenn talking religion. Openly gay country singer Steve Grand talked about living in his parent's house and Macklemore's hitmaker Mary Lambert spoke of body issues.
It was long weekend full of fun, festivities and frolicking in a market where all parts of the LGBT rainbow were welcome.
