On motivational speaking: 'I used to be scared to speak in front of people. I guess it's a new-found talent and I've enjoyed it.' Has spoken at the U.S. Conference on AIDS and to numerous companies. 'I'd love to use my platform to help inspire and help get people to realize that they do have a voice and can fight injustices and that what they're doing is valid and no one can take that away.'
On being an HIV activist: 'I accept that role. I'm happy with the ability I have to get people to possibly change their mind because of what I've been through. We all can help educate people in almost everything we do.'
