The Chicago Public Library (CPL) continues its "Celebrating Diversity" series in June with the observance of Pride Month.
As part of this year's observance, CPL will present two author programs on selective LGBT topics at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State St.
On Wed., June 13, Chicago author Ann Laughlin will read from and sign her latest novel, Runaway, in the video theater (lower level) at 6 p.m.
On Wed., June 20, Sukie de la Croix will discuss and sign his new book, Chicago Whispers: A History of LGBT Chicago Before Stonewall, in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium at 6 p.m.
