Susan Feniger. FORKED—a verite-style documentary by award-winning filmmaker Liz Lachman that captures moments and the impactful career of her life partner: culinarian, author, entrepreneur and James Beard Award winner Susan Feniger—will screen this year at Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival.

UPDATE: A private event that had been scheduled for the previous day has now been cancelled.

Lachman and Feniger will present the film Sunday, Sept. 24, at Landmark Theatres, 2828 N. Clark St., at 4:30 p.m.

Feniger has cooked for former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Lady Gaga, among others. Feniger and longtime business partner Mary Sue Milliken have appeared on The Today Show, Iron Chef, Top Chef Masters and more than 400 episodes of Too Hot Tamales on Food Network. But what happens when Feniger takes a leap of faith to venture out on her own and build her first solo restaurant from the ground up? Susan Feniger. FORKED looks at this.

Tickets are $12; visit reelingfilmfest.org .
