Jack Wrangler—an actor who brought a ruggedness to '70s gay porn and also acted in some straight porn—has died of emphysema at the age of 62, according to the New York Times.

In 1977, Wrangler met singer Margaret Whiting ( who was 22 years his senior ) and eventually married her. Wrangler eventually became a theater producer and was the subject of the recently released DVD, Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon.
