Let me guess. Some of you are into antiques, right? I must be psychic. Or you must be gay. In any event, here's a show that is must-go! Kennedy Productions is throwing their annual Antique Show Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Odeum in Villa Park. Now in its sixteenth year, this extraordinary event features top-notch dealers with a wide variety of antiques displayed with style. Discover tempting treasures such as china, silver, pottery, art glass, toys, botanical prints and so much more. Don't miss this opportunity to step into the past and enjoy this must-see event. For more information ( and trust me, there's a lot more to find out ) , call ( 630 ) 515-1160 or log on to www.kennedyproductions.com .

The Woman's Board of the Winnetka Community will present The Modernism Show: An Exposition and Sale of 20th Century Design 1890-1970 the weekend of Nov. 2-3 at the Winnetka Community House. Clean lines, simple style and sleek materials are among the hallmarks of Modernism, an artistic movement that began in the late 19th Century and espoused the joy of simplified honest forms. Designs from this period include Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Arts and Crafts and Moderne. Works in these and many other design styles will be on display and offered for sale.

The show kicks off with a breakfast fashion show "Modern Style with Modern Accents." The Stracks Zimmerman lecture series will be offered again this year as a part of the educational outreach program of the show. This year, three free lectures wlll take place in the dealer's booths on such topics as "Crafted American Furniture," and "Evaluating American Arts and Crafts Furniture." The Winnetka Community House is located at 620 Lincoln Ave. in Winnetka. For tickets, info, or to receive show mailings, call ( 847 ) 446-0537 or visit www.winnetkacommunityhouse.org .

Speaking of antiques, stop into Smythson Yeats Antiques at 1919 Central St. in Evanston. With a flair for Art Deco, you will most likely find lots to delight and amuse. That's Smythson Yeats Antiques. Call ( 847 ) 475-2464.
