With beats that pulsate through time from ancient Egypt, Nitro's 'Valley of the Kings ( and Queens ) ' party was a thumping success. Mike really knows what the hell he's doing, and that includes knowing to hire the people he has who have helped to make Nitro a one-of-a-kind über-party. Kudos.
Always a pleasure to see Jim at The Eagle. For my money ( not that I've ever paid him ) he's about the sweetest guy this side of a foreman at a sugar factory. Busy as he was watering the bears, we had a chance to discuss matters of serious sociopolitical import. And he got me drunk. What more could you ask for?
Here's what--Hunters turns 25 starting this weekend. Check them out Sunday for a kickoff party. Then catch the Mr. Hunters pageant ( or 'mangeant,' in the parlance of New York ) on Tuesday. See the ad on page 7 for a full, fantastic itinerary.
A hardy congrats to Test Positive Aware Network for raising $135,000 with their 20th annaul Aware Affair last month. I knew the gays had money, but this is ridiculous. Thanks for all your hard work, guys!
And so I'm off to Berlin. If you are wondering why I didn't bold the name of Berlin, it's because I mean the spectacular world city and not the bar. Eight straight, um... not straight days of raw German debauchery. Just wait until you see next week's column!
