QAF LEAVES, SEX RETURNS
This week sees the season finale of QUEER AS FOLK, just as SEX AND THE CITY returns for its sixth and final season. SEX will
run for 12 episodes this summer before returning for eight more next January. As the season begins, Carrie and Jack Berger (Ron
Livingston) go on their first official date. While she is positively giddy about dinner with the witty and unassuming writer, she is
shocked when an old flame comes out of the woodwork. Meanwhile, Samantha has sex with a stranger, Miranda struggles with her
feelings for Steve, and Charlotte dreams of another trip down the aisle.

narrated by Elton John, looking at the global dimension of the AIDS crisis. Today: 'Russia' A young, HIV-positive couple in Russia
struggle to raise their 3-year-old son and work to raise AIDS awareness in their community.
CHARLIE LAWRENCE (CBS, 7:30 p.m.) Charlie (Nathan Lane ) learns that Congress is much like high school when he attempts to
get on the Ways and Means Committee only to discover he's not 'cool' enough to be considered. However, when the committee
chairman reconsiders and hints at selecting Charlie in exchange for his support on a congressional pay raise, he must decide
whether voting against his conscience is worth a spot on the committee.
