D/E Entertainment + Tabernacle Chicago presents part two of its three-part 10th year anniversary celebration, X—A Decade of Excellence on Friday, July 4. Their annual celebration of Pride and Independence features Grammy Award-winning DJ, producer and remixer Frankie Knuckles with VO5—DJ Elbert Phillips, and performing for the fist time in Chicago, singer Michelle Weeks. The event is at House of Blues, 329 N. Dearborn, doors open 10 p.m. Call (312) 339-5938.
