Grammy Award-winning DJ and remixer Frankie Knuckles' latest album, A New Reality, is out now. It is a unique mix of soulful house and R&B music, including 'Bac N Da Day,' which brings Frankie and Jamie Principle together again.

Franklie was honored April 22, 2004 by the Illinois House of Representatives for his work as a pioneer of House Music. House Resolution 0822 was sponsored by Rep. Ken Dunkin (D-5th), Sen. Barack Obama (D-13th), and a state Senate resolution is also expected.

Frankie's album release party was April 25 at Hydrate, 3458 N. Halsted. Dunkin (right) presented Knuckles with a copy of the resolution on behalf of the House of Reps. Pic by Kirk
