Former Chicago musician Homer Marrs releases new music

Discovered nationwide for his live performance of "The Facebook Song" on Jimmy Kimmel Live in support of the first National UnFriend Day, Los Angeles-based LGBTQ indie-rock musician Homer Marrs has released new music.
Marrs, who formerly resided in Chicago, has released his newest single, "This Fantastic Nightmare. He has previously released "Happy Pride from the End of the World" (#8 on the LGBTQ Music Chart), his cover of Danzig's "Sistinas" (#1 on the AltQ Radio Top 20 in 2021), and his last single, "Ben" (#1 on the AltQ Radio chart).
Solo and with the Excellent Adventure, the band he performed with during 2013—16, Marrs has played at rock clubs, gay bars and festivals in his hometown of Chicago as well as on tour across the country. His first solo effort, 2012's Prom King, was produced by Ben Taylor, of JC Brooks and the Uptown Sound.
Before becoming a musician, Marrs performed sketch and improv comedy, touring with the Second City (including a two-year stint at the Flamingo Las Vegas), and GayCo Productions and locally at iO, the Annoyance and Zanies.
