Eve Ensler ignited a movement that has exploded into a global phenomenon though her first triumph, the Vagina Monologues. Now she's back. In The Good Body, Eve takes an inside look at the outside, exploring the cultures of beauty, food and desire through the eyes of women around the world. After a critically acclaimed run on Broadway, she is bringing this performance to Chicago.
Chicago Foundation for Women will host the opening night performance for The Good Body Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie. In addition to the performance, there will be a reception after the show to give the audience an opportunity to meet and greet Eve Ensler.
'We are proud to be a part of presenting Eve's new production to our local audience. Her commitment to social progression benefiting women and girls is both extraordinary and powerful in her productions. She gives you humor, she gives you unforgettable dialogue, and she gives you something to think about,' said Hannah Rosenthal, executive director Chicago Foundation for Women.
