Equality Illinois PAC is running a phone bank program to assist top-tier legislative allies in advance of the March primary election.
Their network of volunteers will be phone-banking for eight of their endorsed candidates who voted for marriage equality and have primary opponents.
The organization is geared up to help protect LGBT-supportive legislators from the Illinois House of Representatives in the upcoming election; allies who voted to support the freedom to marry in Illinois.
The program will be intensive, with a paid volunteer coordinator focused solely on recruiting and training volunteers on their phone bank system and producing results for allied candidates.
