While on David Letterman's show, Pattinson told the host, "There were a couple more guys on this sequel. There was a guy, kind of, maybe a 230-pound guy who was at the premiere, kind of Hispanic-looking, and he was asking me to bite him as well. So I did. And surprisingly, I kind of liked it afterwards ... and I've been out to dinner a couple times with him since."
Eight months into his gender reassignment, Chaz Bono said that becoming male "was the best decision I've ever made," according to ABCNews.go.com . Bono told the TV show Good Morning America, "I feel so much more comfortable that I've ever been. I've felt male as far back as I can remember." On her Sirius Satellite radio show, Rosie O'Donnell admitted that estranged partner Kelli O'Donnell moved out of their home in 2007, People.com reported. O'Donnell revealed the news, in part, because of a Chihuahua, she said. At one point, O'Donnell explained the circumstances that led her to getting the pup: "What happened [ was ] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog."

The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed on the Fox Television Stations through the 2011-12 season, according to a press release. In an interview with Details magazine, gay actor Sir Ian McKellen talked about being a "second-class citizen" when it comes to marriage and having children, according to PinkNews.co.uk. When asked why he had not decided to have a civil partnership, the 70-year-old McKellen said, "It's never crossed my mind that it'd ever be possible for me. That's the scar that I and so many others bearwe believed ourselves to be second-rate citizens for so long, the idea of being able to say 'This is my husband, these are my children' was not an option."

The openly gay actor recently said in Details magazine that he rips out a section of the Biblical book Leviticus that supposedly condemns homosexuality. Now, fans are sending him those same sections that they have removed.
Gay icon Sir Elton John was recently hospitalized, according to On Top magazine. John, 62, was being treated for flu complications; his spokesman said, "He has got an infection, flu and everything that goes with it." The singer was reportedly in London's King Edward VII Hospital ( which cares for the royal family ) in London with his partner, David Furnish, at his side.
Professional wrestler Chris Jericho is in hot water with gay-rights activists after he used anti-gay slurs during the recent Sacramento Horror Film Festival, according to TMZ.com . At one point, when the event's host jokingly sniffed Jericho's drink, the wrestler shot back, "It's apple juice, fag." ( He also insulted Middle Easterners and Paris Hilton. ) Jericho has apologized, but GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios said the apology was "hollow."
Comedy Central has responded to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's demand for an apology regarding a recent South Park episode that contained anti-gay slursand the network's stance is decidedly unapologetic, according to the New York Times. The episode, entitled "The F-Word," involved the South Park kids changing the meaning of the word "fag" so that it's a slur against rude, burly motorcyclists. In a statement, Comedy Central said, "'South Park' is famous for tackling controversial subject matter in thoughtful and hilarious ways. This particular episode of the show has been both criticized and applauded within the gay and lesbian community. With all of that in mind, we will let this 'South Park' episode speak for itself."

The 1953 film From Here to Eternity had gay scenes cut from it. That's the claim of Kaylie Jones, the daughter of Eternity's screenwriter, James Jones, she wrote in an article for The Daily Beast. Kaylie, herself a novelist, wrote that the original manuscript went into "great detail" about sexual favors soldiers like Private Angelo Maggio, played by Frank Sinatra, would provide to rich gay men for money. "'I don't like to be blowed [ by a man ] '," the novel's hero, Private Prewitt ( played by gay actor Montgomery Clift ) , tells Maggio in a section cut from the novel. "Angelo shrugged," wrote James Jones. "'Oh, all right. I admit it's nothing like a woman."
