En La Vida: Mundo De-mente Alicia perdio su mapa a las maravillas

Se ha dicho que buscar felicidad es objetivo del ser humano en la vida. Hoy en día nos han vendido la idea de que ciertos conceptos dan esa felicidad añorada, por ejemplo: el dinero, la belleza o la fama, logar lo anterior requiere tal vez de muchos años:

A menos que provengas de familia acomodada, para tener dinero hay que trabajar, derramar la gota gorda, ganarselo con el sudor de la frente -o como diría el taxista papá de mi amiga, con el sudor de las nachas-. Ahorrar dinero cuesta, recién llegado a Estados Unidos llamaba mi atención que el camión público cobrara casi dos dolares de pasaje, pensaba yo: 'con eso podría tomar un taxi en mi país' y pues mejor caminaba; pero bastó acostumbrarme al dólar para poner en ayunas al cochinito, ahora me es más fácil gastar; entonces, si para ser feliz tuviera que ser millonario ahí la cosa se me puso dura ( y lo de la 'cosa' es simplemente que esta difícil ) .

Belleza: Muchos chavas que conozco estamos aún con el trauma de la apariencia y del peso, un día le entramos duro y sabroso a los tacos y tamales ( a otros más agringados les encantan los hot dogs ) y al siguiente andamos sintiendo que rebotamos. En el gimnasio se nos va el dinero y con la hueva de pararnos temprano al ejercicio también se van las posibilidades de tener un cuerpo espiritiflautico como esos de los que están plagadas la revistas de ahora. Queremos engordar el labio y enflacar la lonja, 'músculo y másculo, es lo que quiero ser' ( creo que así dice una canción ) . Soñamos con cambiarnos algo; a mi mamá le decía que quería operarme la nariz y ella me respondía: 'De paso te operas allá abajo cabrón'. Y que conste que yo respeto e incluso admiro a quienes en realidad se operan de 'allá abajo' por un asunto de bienestar mental. Pero bueno, definitivamente, buscar la felicidad queriendo ser 'perfectamente' bellos con panzas de lavadero representa una verdadera inversión de tiempo, esfuerzo y también dinero.

Fama: Ser la Diva que camina la alfombra roja lanzando besos a la multitud enloquecida, es solo 'virtud' de algunos, indudablemente cuesta mucho trabajo y en lo personal, que flojera.

Por otro lado, escuche decir un día que el sexo es una actividad que sin invertir tanto tiempo brinda felicidad. Muchos hemos aprendido que el significado del sexo no es simplemente un asunto de traer hijos al mundo, es también un acto de amor, una conexión de almas y de pensamiento, estoy seguro de que varias personas del mismo sexo y también heterosexuales han aprendido a disfrutar y explorar más de su sexualidad, seguramente consolidando así sus relaciones de pareja.

Pero hay otras formas también de obtener sexo con tan solo acudir a ciertos lugares o dando click a ciertas ciber-páginas -los solteros se evitan el rollo de enamorar o conquistar y hay quienes lo hacen a escondidas de las respectivas parejas-. He sabido que de lo ultimo que te enteras en un ligue de sauna es del nombre de quien te agarro ( y eso si bien te va ) aunque muchos dirían: 'que importa, si se consiguió lo buscado' ser feliz por un instante. Sinembargo, los bathhouses o baños públicos han sido detectados como importantes focos de infección. El sexo casual lejos de ser divertido puede convertirse también en algo no muy grato si están ausentes los métodos de protección y prevención.

Qué irónico, en la búsqueda ingenua de la felicidad a través del dinero, la fama o la apariencia, podemos encontrar mas bien profundos vacíos internos y, en el caso del sexo eventual, ignorar algo tan sencillo como el uso de un condón, puede dejar inmensa tristeza, en lugar de felicidad.
