EAT CAKE -Six distinctly different women come together one evening to celebrate the life of a mutual friend who died suddenly. Hidden in each are sugar, flower, laughter, friendship, vice, regret and secrets. Through sharing stories, six different cakes and a few bottles of wine, these women face their own misconceptions in life and within this close circle of family and friends.
Explore just how many layers of frosting each have piled on to make life palatable. EAT CAKE is a bittersweet slice of life comedy, unraveling relationships to food, self-image and self-esteem.
Written and directed by Kristi McKay, this all female production invites you to indulge in your theatrical sweet tooth and learn why, "The ass isn't always greener on the other side."
