EXPO Chicago wraps up 10th-anniversary edition

EXPO Chicago: The International Exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art concluded its 10th anniversary edition on April 16.
Approximately 32,000 visitors viewed and/or purchased works by more than 80 curators and museum directors.
The exposition welcomed more than 8,500 VIP guestscollectors, curators, museum directors, artists and art professionalsfor an exclusive first look at more than 170 leading galleries from 36 countries and 90 cities throughout Navy Pier's Festival Hall. Also on opening night, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago's Vernissage raised more than $280,000 for the museum's learning programs.
The fair's core programs included IN/SITU and IN/SITU Outside, distinct presentations of large-scale sculpture, video, film, and site-specific works installed in Festival Hall and across Chicago's public spaces; the /Dialogues panel series, presented in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which included Chance the Rapper, among others; OVERRIDE | A Billboard Project, which will feature digital billboards and information panels across Chicago's Central Business District through April 23; and much more.
EXPO Chicago will return to Navy Pier's Festival Hall on April 11—14, 2024.
