Yes, the rumors are true. Windy City Times/Lambda Publications is starting a GLBT radio program, taking up where LesBiGay Radio left off when it closed down a few weeks ago. Windy City Radio will debut Sunday, Aug. 19, and air 10:30 p.m. weekly for a 90-minute live talk news and entertainment show. ( From 10-10:30, AWARE Talk Radio will airs its weekly health and HIV programming ) . Amy Matheny, Mary Morten, Honey West, Gregg Shapiro and many others will be involved in the show, which airs on the very strong FM signal of WCKG, 105.9. We hope Howard Stern welcomes us to his neighborhood with an open mouth...it will be good publicity!
