Los Angeles-based female rock icons Cherie Currie and Brie Darling are embarking on their first-ever tour together in support of their recently released album, The Motivator—and will perform at City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph St., on Monday, Nov. 25.
Currie is known for her solo work and being with The Runaways, Darling is the drummer/singer for the band Fanny. They met in 2017.
The album was produced by the six-time Grammy nominated Dave Darling ( Brian Setzer; Stray Cats; Janiva Magness; Tom Waits ) and features nine classic covers by acts including The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder and John Lennon, plus three new originals.
