Pravda, TimeLine, through March 26. A laugh-out-loud British burlesque of the free press, ego, politics, rampant capitalism and personal ambition. Only sex is missing. A large cast imbues this comedy with spirit and spark. It's London but it could be Chicago! JBA
The Sirens Of Titan, Lifeline Theatre, through April 3. Some of the satire in Kurt Vonnegut's sci-fi classic reveals its age, but this adaptation from the folks who brought us Around The World In Eighty Days delivers a time-bending intergalactic gallop. MSB
To the Green Fields Beyond, Writers' Theatre, Glencoe, through April 3. Fine ensemble work, masterful direction from Kate Buckley, and a heartfelt and provocative script by Nick Whitby mark this meditation on the tragedy of war, set during WWI. RR
Vincent In Brixton, The Journeymen at The Storefront, opens March 19. Even the Madman of Arles was young and romantic once. If you couldn't get to the suburbs last month, here's another, downtown production of Nicholas Wright's biodrama. MSB
