The Chicago Coalition of Welcoming Churches ( CCWC ) sponsored "Sharing Light, Sharing Faith in Divided Times," a Pride Brunch and Reception, on June 16 at Irving Park United Methodist Church, 3801 N. Keeler Ave.

According to a statement, the "coalition theme continues to speak to our collective passion to bring hope to the LGBTQ community in a challenging period. Our member organizations occupy a variety of places on the spectrum of need for LGBTQ supporting resources, as well as capacity to engage justice-making strategies on the intersections of issues like racism, xenophobia, transphobia, etc."
