June 22, 2011 (Chicago, IL) - ChicagoPride announced a partnership with Clear Channel Radio Chicago's 103-5 KISS FM to provide Pride Radio streaming music to its website visitors and membership.
"We couldn't think of a more perfect partner to provide the music entertainment experience on ChicagoPride," said R. Matthew Inawat, GoPride Corporation President. "Clear Channel is respected as the leading provider of broadcast and Internet radio and we are pleased to bring their diverse radio offerings to our membership."
Listeners of the popular Internet radio player on ChicagoPride can now select between the live broadcast of Clear Channel's Pride Radio, the live broadcast of 103-5 KISS FM, American Top 40 or more than 750 stations through iHeartRadio.
"With this partnership, we've gone from offering one dance radio stream to over 750 channels of music," said Inawat. "Additionally, as we develop our community websites in other cities, for example PrideLA.com, it's becoming more important to partner with nationally recognized brands who understand the pulse of the LGBT market."
ChicagoPride originally launched a music stream in 2005 to provide online members and visitors with additional content and an enhanced online experience.
Pride Radio is music, entertainment and spoken word content especially for the gay population. Coined as America's Gay Channel, Pride Radio music is mostly upbeat, dance-oriented, energetic and guaranteed to satisfy anyone's musical orientation, bringing a whole new feeling of pride.
The new radio player featuring Pride Radio and 103-5 KISS FM can be found throughout ChicagoPride's Website.
ChicagoPride celebrates nine years of commitment as Chicago's top provider of online entertainment and information for Chicago's LGBT community. Earlier this month, ChicagoPride launched the all new GoPride Out & About app for the iPhone, which can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store.
