CHICAGO The 20th annual Chicago Pride Fest® returns on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-2, Friday 4 p.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. The popular LGBTQ+ street festival, organized by Northalsted Business Alliance, is a two-day community celebration of Pride, concluding the day before the Chicago Pride Parade, happening Sunday, Oct. 3.
Northalsted President Ramesh Ariyanayakam says the fun will continue despite the first fall date. "Northalsted celebrates pride year round; a fall festival will be no less extravagant and celebratory."
Performer lineup, schedule details and vendor application information will be announced soon.
A $15 recommended donation for entry helps cover festival costs, supports local charities, and funds community programming. Generous public donations paid for the Chicago Pride Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in 2019 make up the longest installation of it's kind in the world, cementing Northalsted as Chicago's Proudest Neighborhood.
