On Dec. 17, Cheer star Jerry Harris pled not guilty to new federal felony charges that he tried to lure minors for sex and shared sexually explicit photos with them, media outlets reported.

The charges alleged that Harris, 21, exchanged explicit images with youngsters and lured them to various cheerleading competitions, where he allegedly had sex with them.

The docuseries Cheer follows the competitive cheerleading squad at Navarro College, which is in Texas. Harris graduated in 2017 from Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois, and studied at Navarro.
